Preparing for your appointment.

Special Instructions

The best time to see your baby is between 24-32 weeks or 24-26 weeks for multiple gestation. After 30 weeks, the bigger baby gets, it becomes more difficult to capture any images.

When mom-to-be is well hydrated, we’re going to get better images, so drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment. Have a serving of juice or a piece of fruit before you arrive to see the best show.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork and to empty your bladder.

Wear comfortable clothing to allow exposure of your entire abdomen.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 100% the price of your scheduled appointment. Treasured 3D Imaging
Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ultrasound Imaging?

Ultrasound technology uses high frequency sound waves. The waves bounce off tissue and return to the ultrasound machine at different frequencies, depending on the density of the tissue. Our ultrasound equipment is a highly specialized computer that translates the returning sound waves into images for viewing on its computer monitor. We use a GE Voluson Expert and is an FDA approved ultrasound machine. Only the very best for you!

What is the difference in 2D, 3D, 4D and HD?

2D, 3D, 4D and HD are trademarked terminology used in the industry to distinguish the difference types of pictures and videos that can be provided.

2D ultrasounds are the traditional two-dimensional black & white ultrasounds you have probably seen before.

3D captures a three-dimensional image of baby. We can see the roundness of the baby's face, the shape of the nose and the contours of the lips. The color is computer enhanced to make the pictures more appealing and not the actual color of baby.

4D is very similar as 3D with the fourth dimension being movement of baby.

HD is the newest and greatest technology in the advances of ultrasound! HD renders more realistic views of baby. These advances also give us the leading edge with standard 3D/4D imaging quality.

Is 3D and 4D ultrasound safe for me and my baby?

Yes. 3D and 4D ultrasound use the same frequency as your doctor uses in the normal 2D ultrasound. Ultrasounds have been used for over 35 years and there have been no proven side effects from its proper use. We strictly adhere to the FDA's standards.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Since our ultrasounds are considered elective and not based on medical necessity, insurance companies will not cover our services. We do accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Venmo, and cash.

When is the best time to have 3D/ 4D ultrasound?

Many mothers prefer to come in twice, once between 14-26 weeks and again at 24-32 weeks to see a more detailed face. After 34 weeks, it can be difficult to obtain good pictures since the baby is running out of room, but we have been successful in obtaining great images all the way up to 39 weeks. However, every baby is different.

How can I prepare for my 3D/ 4D ultrasound?

Water! Drinking plenty of water before your appointment can help ensure clear amniotic fluid. It's recommended to start hydrating several days before your appointment.

Can my family join?

Great news! You are more than welcome to invite your loved ones to join you for this special moment. However, please note that space is limited. If your party exceeds 5 people, please give us a call text at 970-462-7447 for further details.

Am I guarteed great images of my baby?

At our studio, we understand that every body and baby is unique, which can sometimes make it challenging to get a clear view of the baby. In case we face any difficulty in seeing the baby during your appointment, we offer a free rescan within 2 weeks of your original appointment to ensure that you have the best experience possible.
